《铁拳暗黑复苏》是psp平台首款3d格斗大作，psp版的《铁拳》命名为《铁拳暗黑复苏（tekken dark resurrection）》，这一名称与街机版铁拳最新作《铁拳 5 暗黑复苏》的副标题完全相同，应该是街机版的移植作品。日前，本作的游戏封面正式公布了，日前韩国 scek 也宣布将代理 namco的这款《铁拳暗黑复苏》的韩国版，本作预定发售日定为 2006 年 7 月 20 日。

在公布的登场人物中，我们看到一位在《铁拳5 暗黑复苏》中未曾公布过的，估计就是psp的原创新角色。这名角色的登场也让我们充分领略到了namco的恶搞能力，这名角色是一头白熊，原本是三岛平八饲养的宠物，白熊凭借着自己的聪明智慧，领悟了三岛平八的武学精髓，居然自创了新武学“平八流熊真拳改”来参加铁拳大会，这样的设定实在让人忍俊不禁。除了这名新角色外，三岛一八，吉光，雷武龙，李超狼等老牌任务都将会系数登场。《铁拳暗黑复苏》还将完全采用《铁拳 5 暗黑复苏》的人设以及招式设定，除此之外，本作还将加入几个《铁拳暗黑复苏》独创的搞笑人物，例如之前报道过的白熊等都会在本作中登场。《铁拳》系列和同为3d格斗巅峰之作的《vr战士》相比，《铁拳》的高素质和爽快感完全不输与《vr战士》，本次移植psp后本作的多边形数量将大幅减少来保证游戏的流畅度，本作唯一令人担心的就是psp饱受批评的按键是否能够适应格斗游戏的快节奏。
